Rose and Hubble fabric - William Morris Collection
Absolutely stunning fabric - the border has printed maker, pattern etc. which reads William Morris Collection by Rose & Hubble, detail from Honeysuckle, Cray and Fabric from Hammersmith Terrace by William Morris and courtesy of the Bridgeman Art Library and The Victoria & Albert Museum
The actual piece measures aprox 44 across and 80 long. It is made up of 18 panels which are approx 14 square, each square is backed by black and there is a border running down each side of the fabric.
It was always my intention to use the panel as a whole, match it with some plainer fabrics, and use it to make a large quilt !! I am full of good intentions !! - As you can imagine, it also cost me a fortune !!
It would make a wonderful quilt, but also could be used for lots of cushions, wall hangings, placemats, table centre, etc. etc.
Picture shows panel folded in half - so it has two squares across.
